Lohmann & Rauscher Suprasorb® X + PHMB 2 x 21 cm Rope

Suprasorb® X +PHMB is a versatile two-in-one moisture balance wound dressing designed for the treatment of infected and at-risk superficial and deep wounds with low to moderate exudate. It effectively absorbs excess exudate from the wound while releasing moisture in areas with less exudate, maintaining an optimal healing environment.

Indications

• Suitable for infected or at-risk wounds Chronic wounds:
• Arterial and venous ulcers, pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, leg ulcers Acute wounds:
• Postoperative wounds, abrasions/lacerations, second-degree burns, skin grafts, donor sites

Instructions for Use

1. Before removing the transparent protective film, cut Suprasorb® X +PHMB to the desired size, leaving approximately 2-3 cm beyond the wound edge.
2. Apply the dressing directly onto the wound bed.
3. Use a suitable secondary dressing (Suprasorb® F) to secure Suprasorb® X +PHMB on the wound.

Precautions

• If the dressing begins to dry, moisten it for at least 10 minutes before removal.
• Do not reuse Suprasorb® X +PHMB.
• Not suitable for wounds with exposed cartilage.
• Do not use on third-degree burns.
• Avoid use if known sensitivity to any component of Suprasorb® X +PHMB.
