Lohmann & Rauscher Suprasorb® F 10 x 12 cm

Suprasorb® F transparent film dressing can be used for fixation in wound treatment and for managing minor injuries and superficial wounds with low exudate.

Indications

• Only for non-infected wounds: ulcers of various etiologies, postoperative wounds, skin graft donor sites, abrasions, minor burns and scalds
• Protection and fixation: for pressure ulcer prevention, prevention of skin maceration, fixation of wound dressings, fixation of catheters, infusion lines and drainage tubes, covering medicated dressings

Instructions for Use

1. Open the pouch under aseptic conditions and remove the dressing.
2. Hold the white edges with thumb and index finger and completely peel off the cover paper.
3. Turn the dressing over and place the adhesive side toward the wound.
4. Position the dressing over the area to be covered and gently press it down.

Precautions

• Do not use on infected wounds.
• Not suitable as a primary dressing for deep wounds or wounds with moderate to heavy exudate.
• Suprasorb® F can be used as a secondary dressing to secure antimicrobial dressings or other primary dressings.
• Avoid use if known sensitivity to any component of Suprasorb® F.
