Lohmann & Rauscher Suprasorb® P Sensitive Foam 10 x 10 cm Non-Border

Suprasorb® P sensitive is a multi-layer silicone foam dressing that promotes wound healing and improves wound bed condition. Its efficient exudate management reduces maceration and protects periwound skin. Suprasorb® P sensitive conforms to the wound bed, absorbs exudate vertically, and can be removed atraumatically. Suitable for shallow to deep, low to moderately exuding wounds.

Indications

• Pressure injuries, lower leg and foot ulcers
• Acute wounds: traumatic wounds, postoperative wounds, skin grafts, donor sites, skin tears, burns (first and second degree)

Dry/necrotic wounds can be used with gel

Instructions for Use

1. Clean the wound according to standard procedure.
2. Thoroughly dry the surrounding skin.
3. Remove the release film and apply the adhesive side to the wound. (For deep wounds, fill/cover as per the instructions of the secondary dressing.)
4. Small sizes should cover at least 1–2 cm of dry surrounding skin, large sizes at least 5 cm.

Precautions

• This product is for single use only. Do not use if the package is damaged or opened.
• Do not use Suprasorb® P sensitive silicone foam dressing simultaneously with oxidizing agents (e.g., hypochlorite solutions or hydrogen peroxide).
• Discontinue use if redness or sensitivity occurs.
• Suprasorb® P sensitive silicone foam dressing can be left in place for up to 7 days depending on the wound condition and exudate level. If used continuously, total wear time should not exceed 30 days.
