Lohmann & Rauscher Suprasorb® A + Ag Pro 10 x 10 cm

Suprasorb® A + Ag Pro combines soft comfort with powerful antimicrobial protection. Its calcium alginate and silver alginate fibers, reinforced with cellulose, form a moist gel that promotes healing and effectively absorbs exudate. The silver component provides broad-spectrum antimicrobial action against various pathogens, including MRSA. This wound dressing can be cut to fit various shapes and sizes of wounds, including superficial and deep wounds, suitable for high exudate levels.

Indications

• Pressure injuries, arterial ulcers, venous leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers
• Acute wounds: postoperative wounds, skin grafts, donor sites

Instructions for Use

1. Cut Suprasorb® A + Ag Pro to the desired size, ensuring it extends about 1 cm beyond the wound edge (cut only when dry).
2. Apply the dressing directly to the wound bed (it will form a gel).
3. Use a suitable secondary dressing to secure the product and maintain a moist wound environment.

Precautions

• If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional.
• Do not use on patients undergoing MRI.
• Unless specifically directed by a physician, not recommended for pregnant or nursing women, or infants; this product is intended for adult patients only.
• Not suitable for heavy bleeding, body cavities, or closed wounds.
