Lohmann & Rauscher Suprasorb® Liquacel Ag 10 x 10 cm

Suprasorb® Liquacel Ag is a wound dressing containing antimicrobial hydrophilic active fibers with nano-silver particles, designed to effectively combat biofilm and a wide range of pathogens, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. This wound dressing can be cut to fit various shapes and sizes of wounds, including superficial and deep wounds, and is suitable for moderate to high exudate levels.

Indications

• Pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, leg ulcers
• Acute wounds: postoperative wounds, abrasions/lacerations, second-degree burns, skin grafts, donor sites, tumor wounds

Instructions for Use

1. Cut Suprasorb® Liquacel Ag to the desired size, leaving about 1 cm beyond the wound edge (only cut when dry).
2. Apply the dressing directly to the wound bed (it will form a gel upon contact with wound exudate).
3. Use an appropriate secondary dressing (e.g., foam) to secure the product and maintain a moist wound environment.
4. The dressing change interval should not exceed 7 days.

Precautions

• Do not use in cases of excessive bleeding.
• Avoid use if there is known sensitivity to any component of Suprasorb® Liquacel Ag.
