Lohmann & Rauscher Debrisoft® Pad 13 x 20 cm Wound Cleansing and Healing Product

Debrisoft® sterile wound debridement pad is designed for fast, efficient, safe, and pain-reducing debridement. During debridement, the Debrisoft® pad absorbs exudate, debris, and stratum corneum from acute and chronic superficial wounds while protecting the surrounding intact skin.

Indications

• Diabetic ulcers, pressure injuries, arterial and venous ulcers, secondary healing postoperative wounds, traumatic and surgical wounds (abrasions, incisions, lacerations), first to third degree burns, scalds, lymphedema

Instructions for Use

1. Clean and remove all emollients.
2. Open the sterile single-use package.
3. Moisten the entire Debrisoft® pad with an appropriate amount of saline or other mild wound irrigation solution (approximately 20-40 ml).
4. Gently sweep in circular/linear motions over the wound bed with appropriate pressure (*reduce pressure as needed based on patient tolerance).
5. Use a new Debrisoft® pad for each wound.
6. After using Debrisoft® pad, reassess the wound/skin condition and select an appropriate dressing/treatment regimen.

Precautions

• Do not cut the Debrisoft® pad, as this may damage the protective coating on the back and cause fiber shedding.
• Do not use if the package is damaged or has been accidentally opened.
• Do not reuse this product.
• Debrisoft® pad is not intended for removal of necrotic tissue.
• Debrisoft® pad should not be used as a wound dressing.
• Do not use this product as a cleaning tool.
• If suspected allergy or allergic reaction to any component occurs, discontinue use immediately.
