Lohmann & Rauscher Debrisoft® Lolly 1.9 x 16 cm

Debrisoft® Lolly is a unique, clinically proven, safe, effective, and time-saving debridement product. It is specifically designed for cleaning chronic, acute, and superficial wounds, periwound skin, and hyperkeratotic skin. Additionally, Debrisoft® Lolly can clean deep wounds, undermined wounds, or tunneling wounds.

Indications

• Diabetic ulcers, pressure injuries, arterial and venous ulcers, secondary healing surgical wounds, traumatic and surgical wounds (abrasions, incisions, lacerations), first to third degree burns and scalds

Instructions for Use

1. Clean and remove all emollients
2. Open the sterile single-use packaging
3. Moisten the white soft fiber head of the Debrisoft® Lolly with an appropriate amount of saline or other mild wound irrigation solution (approximately 5-15 ml)
4. Gently apply circular/linear strokes on the wound bed with appropriate pressure (*pressure may be reduced based on patient tolerance)
5. Use a new Debrisoft® Lolly for each wound
6. After using Debrisoft® Lolly, reassess the wound/skin condition and select an appropriate dressing/treatment plan

Precautions

• Do not cut the Debrisoft® Lolly, as this may damage the protective coating on the back and cause fibers to detach from the composite material
• Do not use if the packaging is damaged or accidentally opened
• Do not reuse this product
• Do not insert the fiber head of Debrisoft® Lolly into wounds narrower than its width
• Debrisoft® Lolly is not intended for removal of necrotic tissue
• Debrisoft® Lolly should not be used as a wound dressing
• Do not use this product as a cleaning tool
• If suspected allergy or allergic reaction to any component occurs, discontinue use immediately
